What is the KOEL Wellie Sock Wool suitable for?
For children who still stomp through every puddle in November: This wool sock fits inside the KOEL Wini rubber boot, turning the rain boot into a lined boot for cold, wet days.
With the sock, the boot needs more space: The sock lines the inside of the boot and takes up room, especially at the front by the toes. A large part of the extra space that Koel includes in the Wini boots for toes and growth is then taken up by the sock. Therefore, buy the boots and the socks in the same size, and both at least one size larger than you would without the sock, so that the toes still have enough room.
Warm from the bottom to the top: Between the foot and the base of the boot lies a wool felt insole with aluminum insulation – it is designed to keep out the cold from below. Above that is the wool sock, and you can fold the felt collar over the top edge of the boot to keep it securely in place on the shaft.
Take out for drying and washing: The sock can be removed at any time – for drying after a wet day and for hand washing if mud has managed to get inside.
