Description

What is the KOEL Milo 3.0 Hydro WP suitable for?

Designed for children who are on the go all day, the Milo 3.0 is a barefoot boot for autumn and winter: for exploration tours through the park, wet autumn meadows, and frosty mornings on the way to school.

Free movement for little feet: The highly flexible sole allows the foot to roll and work instead of restricting it. The toe box has a medium-width cut, making it suitable for normal to slightly wider children's feet.

Warm and protected against moisture: Inside, a wool lining provides warmth, complemented by a Tex membrane. On the outside, durable hydro leather meets soft suede, and according to the manufacturer, the boot is water-repellent.

Fastened quickly, secure on the foot: According to KOEL, the double Velcro fastener ensures a simple, secure fit. This makes putting them on quick, even when you're in a rush in the morning.

In the package: 1 pair of KOEL Milo 3.0 Hydro WP, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child wear socks with these boots?

Yes, absolutely. The term ‘barefoot shoe’ describes the feel of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not the need to go barefoot.

How much room should there be at the front of the boot?

Allow at least 15 mm in addition to the foot length – the warm lining needs a little more room than unlined shoes. You can find the insole length for each size in the size chart.

Is the insole removable in this boot?

Yes, the insole is removable. It is made from recycled thermo felt and can be aired out separately after wear.

My child is wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Children usually adapt to barefoot shoes faster than adults because their foot muscles have not yet weakened. Still, introduce the shoes gradually and speak to a pediatrician or orthopedist if you notice anything unusual.

Can the Milo 3.0 withstand rain and puddles?

Yes, it has a Tex membrane for this purpose, and KOEL rates it as water-repellent. If a puddle is deeper than the shaft, water will run in from the top – in that case, a Wellington boot is the better choice.
