Xero Shoes was founded in November 2009 by Steven Sashen and Lena Phoenix in Boulder, Colorado – initially with DIY Huarache running sandals, inspired by the bestseller “Born to Run.” The brand also gained fame through the US reality show Shark Tank, where the couple turned down a $400,000 offer. How do Xero Shoes fit? This depends on the model. Measure your foot length while standing for both feet and compare them with the size chart on the respective product page – where we provide fit advice for each model.
What does the 5,000-mile warranty mean? Xero provides a 5,000-mile warranty (approx. 8,000 kilometers) on the FeelTrue® soles. If you wear through the sole before then, Xero will replace the shoe for a small fee.
Are Xero Shoes waterproof? Models with the "WP" or "Waterproof" designation – such as the Mesa Trail WP or the Scrambler Waterproof series – have a waterproof membrane. The Gracie rain boot is also waterproof.
